Chinese Medicine in New Zealand is now regulated by the Chinese Medicine Council. All practitioners required to have a (APC) Annual Practicing Certificate.

Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC)

ACC Treatment surcharge: $30 to $50

Private Cost for 30 Mins $50 ACC Cost $30

Private Cost for 60 Mins $90 ACC Cost $50

You have an entitlement to acupuncture for most ACC related injuries regardless of if you have had the injury treated by another health practitioner. If you have injured yourself and are currently, or have recently, received ACC treatment via a chiropractor, osteopath or physio you also have an entitlement to acupuncture treatment.
